ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. Install a new gasket to the engine oil temperature sensor.

    2. A01RBLCN01

      Using SST, install the engine oil temperature sensor to the stiffening crankcase assembly.

      SST
      09817-33191
      Torque:
      19.6 N*m  { 200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      If the engine oil temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Connect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.

    4. Engage the clamp and install the connector cover to the stiffening crankcase assembly.

  4. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

  5. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
