ECM INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 1 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL ECM


    1. Install the ECM with the 2 nuts and bolt.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
      Nut
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      Note

      If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    2. B005LOS

      Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.

      Note


      • When connecting the ECM connectors, make sure that the connecting parts of the ECM conectors are free of dirt, water and other foreign matter.

      • Make sure the ECM connectors are connected securely.

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
