Note
When the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following system(s) after the cable is reconnected.

Note
Performing work after replacing the absorber control ECU (rear acceleration sensor) with a normally functioning one from another vehicle may result in DTCs being stored, or have a negative effect on other systems. When replacing the absorber control ECU (rear acceleration sensor), be sure to install a new one.
After replacing the absorber control ECU (rear acceleration sensor), enter test mode to make sure that all the test mode DTCs can be cleared and to perform registration of vehicle identification information.
