PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Light Control Switch LH Side Type)


    1. Check the resistance.

        (Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        22 (T) - 19 (EL) Light control switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        23 (H) - 19 (EL) 10 kΩ or higher
        24 (A) - 19 (EL) 10 kΩ or higher
        22 (T) - 19 (EL) Light control switch in tail position Below 1 Ω
        22 (T) - 19 (EL) Light control switch in head position Below 1 Ω
        23 (H) - 19 (EL) Below 1 Ω
        24 (A) - 19 (EL) Light control switch in AUTO position Below 1 Ω
        Dimmer Switch

        18 (HU) - 19 (EL) Dimmer switch in high position Below 1 Ω

        Turn Signal Switch

        15 (TR) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in neutral position 10 kΩ or higher
        14 (TL) - 16 (E) 10 kΩ or higher
        17 (CR) - 16 (E) 10 kΩ or higher
        15 (TR) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in right turn position Below 1 Ω
        17 (CR) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in full right turn position Below 1 Ω
        14 (TL) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in left turn position Below 1 Ω
        17 (CR) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in full left turn position Below 1 Ω
        Fog Light Switch
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        9 (B) - 10 (LFG)*1 Fog light switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        9 (B) - 10 (LFG)*1 Fog light switch in rear position Below 1 Ω

        • *1: w/ Rear Fog Light

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Light Control Switch RH Side Type)


    1. Check the resistance.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.
