CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
When replacing the forward recognition camera, make sure to replace it with a new one. If a device which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the forward recognition camera will not match the information from the vehicle and, as a result, a DTC may be stored.
When the forward recognition camera is replaced, always perform beam axis adjustment for the forward recognition camera.
If the headlight control computer assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight control computer assembly LH.

This DTC is only output when a malfunction occurs at night.

Clear the DTCs.

CHECK FOR FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA
Move the vehicle to a cool place in order to lower the temperature of the forward recognition camera.
Cover the automatic light control sensor with a lightproof object.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Check for DTCs.

REPLACE FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA
Replace the forward recognition camera with a new one.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs.
Perform beam axis adjustment for the forward recognition camera.
Cover the automatic light control sensor with a lightproof object.
Check for DTCs.
