DESCRIPTION

The combination meter receives the turn signal switch information and controls the turn signal lights.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH)


    1. Disconnect the K23 headlight dimmer switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the K29 windshield wiper switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      K23-16 (E) - K29-6 (GND1) Always Below 1 Ω
      K23-14 (TL) - K29-13 (TL1)

      K23-16 (E) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K23-14 (TL) - Body ground
      K23-15 (TR) - Body ground

    1. Disconnect the K32 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
