CAUTION:

Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar while holding the luggage compartment door panel sub-assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (w/o Spare Tire)

      Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (w/ Spare Tire)

      Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX (w/o Spare Tire)

      Remove the luggage compartment trim box.

  4. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (w/o Spare Tire)

      Remove the spare wheel cover tray.

  5. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (w/ Spare Tire)

      Remove the spare wheel cover tray.

  6. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY LH (w/ Spare Tire)

  10. REMOVE SIDE TRIM BOX LH

      Remove the side trim box LH.

  11. REMOVE SIDE TRIM BOX

      Remove the side trim box.

  12. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all rope hooks.

      Disengage the claws and open the cover as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the bolt and rope hook assembly.

  13. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET LH

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the rear luggage compartment tray bracket LH.

  14. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

      Disengage the claws to remove the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.

      Slide the 3 slide clips as shown in the illustration.

      Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.

    3. Disengage the guides to remove the rear luggage compartment trim cover.

  18. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

    2. B002EBV

      Disengage the clips to remove the rear floor finish plate.

  19. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and front luggage compartment trim cover.

  20. REMOVE ROPE HOOK

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both rope hooks.

      Pinch the rope hook as indicated by the arrows in the illustration to remove the rope hook.

    2. Disengage the claws to remove the clip.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the luggage compartment trim inner cover LH.

      Install the washer (90201-10008) to SST as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the claws to open the cover.

      Note

      If the cover of the luggage compartment door torsion bar support is opened, replace the luggage compartment door torsion bar support with a new one.

      Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support.

      Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage compartment door hinge LH as shown in the illustration.
