LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE (w/ Handle)

      B002C8N Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the claws to remove the luggage lock control cable plate as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Handle)

      Disconnect the luggage compartment door inside handle from the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

    *a Protective Tape
    B002C8N Remove in this Direction

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws to open the cover as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.

  4. REMOVE SWITCH BEZEL (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

    1. Disengage the claws to remove the switch bezel as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 15 clips and luggage compartment door cover.

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover LH.

  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

  9. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Handle)

      Disengage the clamps to remove the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY


    1. B002DEV

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and luggage door closer assembly.

  11. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP (w/ Handle)

      Disengage the claw and guide to remove the luggage lock control cable clamp.

  12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. B002CAS

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly together with the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT KEY CYLINDER PROTECTOR

      *A for Type A
      *B for Type B

      Remove the nut and luggage compartment key cylinder protector.

  14. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly from the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

  15. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY
