Use the same procedures for both the LH and RH sides.
The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG

Using a molding remover A, disengage the claws to remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE REAR DOOR HOLE COVER
Remove the rear door hole cover.
REMOVE REAR ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disengage the clips and claws.
Disconnect the connector to remove the rear armrest base upper panel sub-assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the 3 screws.
Disengage the clips as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the reference boss in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws.
Disconnect each connector.

Disconnect the rear door lock remote control cable assembly and rear door inside locking cable assembly to remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly.
REMOVE REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade)
Remove the 7 screws and rear curtain sub-assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 14 screws and rear door inside handle sub-assembly together with the rear door trim ornament sub-assembly and No. 1 interior illumination light assembly.
Remove the screw.
Disengage the claw to remove the rear door inside handle sub-assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disengage the claws to remove the rear door trim ornament sub-assembly from the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM SEAL
Using a clip remover, disengage the clips to remove the rear door trim seal.
REMOVE NO. 1 REAR DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION
Remove the No. 1 rear door stiffener cushion.
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM COVER
Disengage the clips to remove the rear door trim cover.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS INNER WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVE REAR SIDE CURTAIN ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade)
Disengage the claws and clips to remove the rear side curtain assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH
Disengage the clips to remove the rear door frame garnish.
REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST SET BRACKET
Remove the 2 screws and rear door armrest set bracket.
REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
Pull out the rear door lock remote control cable assembly and rear door inside locking cable assembly from the rear door service hole cover and remove the rear door service hole cover.
Note
Remove any remaining butyl tape from the rear door panel sub-assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
Connect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
Move the rear door glass sub-assembly so that the rear door glass channel can be seen.
Disconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
Partially disengage the rear door glass run as shown in the illustration.
Raise up the rear door weatherstrip and then remove the screw.
Remove the screw and 2 bolts.
Install the rear door weatherstrip.
Separate the rear door window rear lower frame sub-assembly together with the rear door glass run as shown in the illustration.
Remove the rear door window rear lower frame sub-assembly from the rear door glass run.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN
Remove the rear door glass run.
REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS

Remove the rear door quarter window glass as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP
Remove the rear door quarter window weatherstrip from the rear door quarter window glass.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
Note
Do not damage the door glass.

Disconnect the connector.

Loosen the temporary bolt.
Note
Do not remove the temporary bolt. If the temporary bolt is removed, the rear door window regulator sub-assembly may fall and cause damage.
Remove the 3 bolts and rear door window regulator sub-assembly.
Remove the temporary bolt from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly.

Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, loosen the screw.
Remove the rear door outside handle cover as shown in the illustration.

Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp to remove the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly.

REMOVE NO. 2 REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Using a clip remover, disengage the clips to remove the No. 2 rear door weatherstrip.
REMOVE NO. 3 REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

Remove the 2 double-sided tapes and No. 3 rear door weatherstrip.
Note
Remove any remaining double-side tape from the rear door panel sub-assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL
Disengage the claw to remove the rear door dustproof seal.
REMOVE REAR DOOR PANEL CUSHION
Remove the rear door panel cushion.
REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and rear door check assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Using a clip remover, disengage the clips to remove the rear door weatherstrip.
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT BELT MOULDING END COVER
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT WINDOW FRAME MOULDING
REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY
