Use the same procedure for the RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.
Use the same procedures for both the LH and RH sides.
The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG

Using a moulding remover A, disengage the claws to remove the front door inside handle bezel plug as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR HOLE COVER
Remove the front door hole cover.
REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL
Disengage the clips and claws.
Disconnect the connector to remove the front armrest base upper panel.
REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the 3 screws.
Disengage the clips as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the reference boss in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws.
Disconnect each connector.

Disconnect the front door lock remote control cable assembly and front door inside locking cable assembly to remove the front door trim board sub-assembly.

REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 15 screws and front door inside handle sub-assembly together with the front door trim ornament sub-assembly and No. 1 interior illumination light assembly.
Remove the screw.
Disengage the claw to remove the front door inside handle sub-assembly.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disengage the claws to remove the front door trim ornament sub-assembly from the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM SEAL
Using a clip remover, disengage the clips to remove the front door trim seal.
REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION
Remove the No. 1 front door stiffener cushion.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER
Disengage the clips to remove the front door trim cover.
REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH
Disengage the clips to remove the door frame garnish.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS INNER WEATHERSTRIP

Remove the front door glass inner weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST SET BRACKET
Remove the 2 screws and front door armrest set bracket.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
Pull out the front door lock remote control cable assembly and front door inside locking cable assembly from the front door service hole cover and remove the front door service hole cover.
Note
Remove any remaining butyl tape from the front door panel sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY
Connect the power window regulator master switch assembly.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
Move the front door glass sub-assembly so that the door glass bolts can be seen.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Disconnect the power window regulator master switch assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts.
Note
After the bolts are removed, do not allow the front door glass sub-assembly to fall.

Note
Do not damage the front door glass sub-assembly.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN
Remove the front door glass run.

REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the connector.
Loosen the temporary bolt.
Note
Do not remove the temporary bolt. If the temporary bolt is removed, the front door window regulator sub-assembly may fall and cause damage.
Remove the 5 bolts and front door window regulator sub-assembly.
Remove the temporary bolt from the front door window regulator sub-assembly.
REMOVE FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU
REMOVE OUTER MIRROR PROTECTOR
REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disengage the guide to remove the front door rear lower frame sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION

Remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the double-sided tape and No. 2 front door stiffener cushion.
Note
Remove any remaining double-side tape from the front door panel sub-assembly.

Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, loosen the screw.
Remove the front door lock cylinder assembly as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the claws to remove the front door outside handle cover LH.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER RH (for Front Passenger Side)

Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, loosen the screw.
Remove the front door outside handle cover RH as shown in the illustration.

Separate the front door outside handle frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
Disengage the clamps to remove the front door outside handle frame sub-assembly from the wire harness.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK OPEN ROD

Disconnect the snap to remove the front door lock open rod from the front door outside frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Using a clip remover, disengage the clips to remove the No. 2 front door weatherstrip.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR PANEL CUSHION
Remove the front door panel cushion.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for all front door dust proof seals.
Disengage the claw to remove the front door dust proof seal.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and front door check assembly.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Disengage the clips to remove the front door weatherstrip.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR BELT MOULDING END COVER
REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING
REMOVE FRONT DOOR FRONT LOWER FRAME UPPER COVER

Disengage the clamps of the front door wire.
Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the front door wire from the front door panel sub-assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts and front door panel sub-assembly.
CAUTION:
Be sure to perform this procedure with 2 or more persons as the part is very heavy.
REMOVE NO. 3 FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Remove the 4 clips and No. 3 front door weatherstrip.
