HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for LHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *a String

      Tie the string that was passed thorough the engine compartment room to the end of the hood lock control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the vehicle body.

    3. Engage the clamps, claws and stopper.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (w/ Cover)


    1. B002EIW

      Engage the craw to install the No. 2 hood lock control cable cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  3. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

  4. CONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

    Click here

  5. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (w/ Cover)

      Engage the claws to install the hood lock control cable cover.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

  8. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. INSTALL HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

    Click here

  11. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    Click here

  12. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

      Engage the guides and claw to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  14. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR TO FRONT SIDE SEAL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Engage the clips to install the front pillar to front side seal sub-assembly LH.
