  1. CHECK LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

  2. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU (w/o Power Trunk Lid System)

    1. Disconnect the U32 multiplex network door ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      U32-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      U32-16 (IG) - Body ground B - Body ground IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V
      U32-18 (ECUB) - Body ground P - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      U32-19 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the U32 Multiplex network door ECU connector.

    4. Measure the voltage and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

      U32-13 (HAF) - U32-1 (GND) W - W-B Luggage compartment door lock assembly (latch switch) signal circuit Luggage compartment door open → close (luggage compartment door closer operation) Below 1 V → Pulse generation
      U32-14 (PAWL) - U32-1 (GND) L - W-B Luggage compartment door lock assembly (pawl switch) signal circuit Luggage compartment door open → close (luggage compartment door closer operation) Below 1 V → Pulse generation
  3. CHECK COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
