  1. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)

      Component without harness connected

      (Sliding Roof Switch (Map Light Assembly))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (UP) - 10 (GND) UP switch is pressed Below 10 Ω
      1 (UP) - 10 (GND) UP switch is not pressed 1 kΩ or higher
      15 (DOWN) - 10 (GND) DOWN switch is pressed Below 10 Ω
      15 (DOWN) - 10 (GND) DOWN switch is not pressed 1 kΩ or higher
      16 (OPN) - 10 (GND) OPEN switch is pressed Below 10 Ω
      16 (OPN) - 10 (GND) OPEN switch is not pressed 1 kΩ or higher
      2 (CLS) - 10 (GND) CLOSE switch is pressed Below 10 Ω
      2 (CLS) - 10 (GND) CLOSE switch is not pressed 1 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the sliding roof switch assembly (map light assembly).
