SLIDING ROOF HOUSING REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the sliding roof housing assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH

      Remove the sliding roof side garnish LH.

  2. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 screws and sliding roof glass sub-assembly.

      Note

      To prevent the sliding roof glass sub-assembly and sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly from being displaced, fully close the sliding roof glass sub-assembly, and then remove the sliding roof glass sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF WEATHERSTRIP

      Remove the sliding roof weatherstrip from the sliding roof panel sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

  7. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      for Clamp Type:


      1. Disengage the claw to disconnect the sliding roof drain hose assembly.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the other 3 sliding roof drain hose assemblies.

    2. B002DTL

      for Clip Type:


      1. Slide the clip to disconnect the sliding roof drain hose assembly.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the other 3 sliding roof drain hose assemblies.

    3. Remove the 8 bolts, 8 nuts and sliding roof housing assembly.
