REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR SUN SHADE SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QC72C03
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Sun Shade Switch Assembly)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        3 (ECU) - 4 (E)

        Rear sun shade switch on

        (Pushed)

        		 Below 1 Ω
        3 (ECU) - 4 (E)

        Rear sun shade switch off

        (Not pushed)

        		 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear sun shade switch assembly.

    2. A01QC72C04
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Sun shade Switch Assembly)

      Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the rear sun shade switch assembly and check that the rear sun shade switch illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear sun shade switch assembly.
