FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure as for the LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B002C8N Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the clips and guide to remove the instrument center cluster finish panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

      B002E01 Remove in this Direction (2)

      Disengage the clips and guides to remove the instrument panel finish panel end LH as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

      B002E01 Remove in this Direction (2)

      Disengage the clips and guides to remove the instrument panel finish panel end RH as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B002DP3 Downward

      Disengage the claw to separate the shifting hole cover as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01QD81C01
      B002C8N Remove in this Direction

      Remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B002C8N Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the clips to remove the console upper panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect the connectors.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the clips to remove the instrument panel cup holder assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disconnect the connectors.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL

      B002C8N Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the clips, claws and guides to remove the console rear end panel as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

  9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

      *a Clamp
      *b Guide

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Remove the 5 bolts.

    4. Remove the 2 screws.

    5. Disengage the guides to remove the console box assembly.
