  • Use the same procedure as for the LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

      Remove the screw <F>.

    2. Disengage the guides and claw to remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

      Remove the screw <F>.

    2. Disengage the guides and claw to remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

  3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

      *a Clamp
      *b Guide

      Disengage the clamps to disconnect the wire harness connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 screws <F>.

    3. Disengage the guides to remove the defroster nozzle assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

      Remove the 3 screws <F>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 1 heater to register duct.

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

      Remove the 3 screws <F>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 3 heater to register duct.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

      Remove the 2 screws <F>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 2 heater to register duct.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN

      Remove the screw <A>.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the No. 1 instrument panel pin.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 side.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD RETAINER

      Remove the 2 screws <A>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 1 meter hood retainer.

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PAD BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

      Remove the screw <A>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 3 instrument pad bracket.

  11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD RETAINER

      Remove the 5 screws <A> and instrument panel safety pad retainer.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the 2 No. 1 instrument panel cushions.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION (w/o Headup Display)

      Remove the No. 2 instrument panel cushion.

  14. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the No. 3 instrument panel cushion.

  15. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the No. 4 instrument panel cushion.

  16. REMOVE NO. 5 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the 2 No. 5 instrument panel cushions.

  17. REMOVE SPARE SWITCH HOLE COVER (for RHD)

      Disengage the claws to remove the spare switch hole cover.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

      Disconnect the connector to remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  19. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR

  23. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)


  24. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Headup Display)


    1. Remove the 27 screws <A>.

    2. Disengage the claws to remove the upper instrument panel sub-assembly.

  25. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Headup Display)


    1. Remove the 28 screws <A>.

    2. Disengage the claws to remove the upper instrument panel sub-assembly.

  26. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH (w/ Headup Display)


    1. Remove the 9 screws <A> and No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish from the upper instrument panel sub-assembly.
