Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
After replacing the radio receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, registration of the XM radio ID is necessary (w/ SDARS System).
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)
Remove the 2 screws.

Remove in this Direction |
Pull in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, disengage the claws and clips.
Disconnect the connectors and remove the air conditioning control assembly (radio receiver assenbly).
REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET
Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.
