AIR CONDITIONING PRESSURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONER PRESSURE SENSOR


    1. Remove the vinyl tape from the liquid pipe sub-assembly and the connecting part of the air conditioner pressure sensor.

    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and fitting surface of the air conditioner pressure sensor.

      Compressor Oil
      for HFC-134a (R134a)
      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
      for HFO-1234yf (R1234yf)
      ND-OIL 12 or equivalent

      Note

      Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

      *b Hold

      Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, install the air conditioner pressure sensor as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

    4. Connect the connector.

  4. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT

  5. WARM UP ENGINE

  6. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK
