GENERAL
By operating the rear sun shade switch for the front or rear seats, the rear sunshade rises to cover the back window glass and helps block sunlight for the rear passengers.
REAR SUNSHADE SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
By operating the rear sun shade switch, the rear sunshade rises and lowers.
When the shift lever is in R, the park/neutral position switch sends a reverse-linked signal to the rear sunshade, and the rear sunshade lowers. The visibility to the rear of the vehicle improves without any switch operation.
Using the GTS, the reverse-linked sunshade lowering function's response time can be customized to one of the following settings (in seconds): 0, 0.7, 0.9, 1.2.
When the shift lever is moved to P or the vehicle speed is 15 km/h (9.3 mph) or more, the rear sunshade is raised.
When the engine switch is turned off while the rear sunshade is rising or lowering, the operation continues until the rear sunshade has fully risen or fully lowered, respectively.
After the engine switch is turned from on (IG) to off, the rear sunshade can be operated for approximately 60 seconds.
