REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

      *a Unlock
      *b Lock
      *c 45°

      Before installing the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH, check the ELR function.


      1. When the inclination of the retractor is 15° or less, check that the belt can be pulled from the retractor. When the inclination of the retractor is over 45°, check that the belt locks.

        Note

        Do not disassemble the retractor.

      Engage the guide and temporarily install the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

    3. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      Front side
      12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
      Rear side
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    4. Connect the floor anchor of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    5. Inspect ELR lock


      1. Check that when installed to the vehicle, pulling the belt out quickly will cause the belt to lock.

    6. Remove the bolt to disconnect the floor anchor of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

      *a Protruding Part

      Install the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH to overlap onto the protruding part of the floor panel.

    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Sunshade)


    1. Engage the guides and clips to install the package tray trim panel assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the guides and claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade)


    1. Engage the clips to install the package tray trim panel assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the guides and claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER

      Engage the guides and claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedures as for the opposite side.
