PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER LH (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER LH)


    1. Check the resistance.

        Component without harness connected

        (Front Seat Cushion Heater LH (Front Seat Cushion Pad With Cover LH))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-2 - B-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        A-5 - B-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        A-1 - A-7 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 6.4 to 12.5 kΩ
        B-5 - A-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-3 - A-3 Always 2.95 to 3.61 Ω
        B-3 - C-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        C-2 - A-3 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater LH (front seat cushion pad with cover LH).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER RH (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER RH)


    1. Check the resistance.
