The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the front seatback heater (front seatback pad with cover) removal/installation are shown below.

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  4. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  5. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER)

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    2. B002EAI

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    3. B002EWM

      Remove the 2 nuts to disconnect the 2 brackets.

    4. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Disengage the claws to separate the seatback climate control blower from the front seatback heater (front seatback pad with cover).

      B002C8N Remove in this direction (1)
      B002E01 Remove in this direction (2)

      Pull out the rear end portion of the front seatback heater (front seatback pad with cover) in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration.

    6. Lift up in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to remove the front seatback heater (front seatback pad with cover).

      Peel off the double-sided tapes to remove the front seatback protector.
