REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seatback cover to the rear seatback pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, securely install 36 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage or contaminate the bench type rear seatback cover.

        *a Hog Ring Pliers

        Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seatback cover.

    3. A01Q9FV

      Pass the brackets of the bench type rear seatback cover through the holes in the rear seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

    4. Install the rear seat airbag assembly LH.

    5. Install the rear seat airbag assembly RH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Pass the rear seatback heater wire harnesses through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

    7. Pass the rear seatback pad through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover to install the bench type rear seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

    8. Using hog ring pliers, securely install the bench type rear seatback cover to the rear seatback pad with 36 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage or contaminate the bench type rear seatback cover.

        Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seatback cover.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Engage the protrusion of the rear seat headrest supports with the groove in the installation portion of the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.

      B002C8N Install in this direction

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration and engage the claws to remove the 6 rear seat headrest supports.

    3. A01QBHM

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

      Note

      Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

      Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH

      Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH with the 3 screws.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT WIRE


    1. w/ Audio Switch:

        Engage the clamps and claw to install the rear seat wire.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Engage the clamps and claw to install the rear seat wire.

      2. Pass the rear seat wire under the rubber bands of the bench type rear seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

      3. Connect the 2 connectors.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX

      Install the rear seat center armrest box to the rear seat center armrest pad as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the hooks to install the rear seat center armrest cover sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the rear seat center armrest cup holder sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the 2 screws

  10. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX WIRE (w/ Audio Switch)

      Engage the clamps to install the rear console box wire.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX ASSEMBLY (w/o Audio Switch)

      Engage the claws to install the rear seat center armrest box assembly.

  12. INSTALL REAR CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Audio Switch)

    1. Engage the claws to install the rear control switch.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Audio Switch:

        Connect the connector.

      Engage the guides and claws to install the rear seat center armrest panel sub-assembly.

    3. Install the screw.

  14. INSTALL ARMREST CONSOLE HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the armrest console hinge sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  15. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the center armrest lock sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

  16. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT CENTER ARMREST PLATE

      Install the rear No. 1 seat center armrest plate with the 4 screws.

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Engage the guide to install the rear seat center armrest door sub-assembly.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

      Set the rear seat center armrest door lock cylinder assembly in the unlocked position.

    2. Insert the rear seat center armrest door lock cylinder assembly into the rear seat armrest hole board sub-assembly, to engage the claw.

      Install the rear No. 1 seat center armrest spring to the rear seat armrest handle.

      Slide in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and engage the claws to install the rear seat armrest handle.

  19. INSTALL CUSHION

      Install the 2 cushions.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX BEZEL

      Engage the claws to install the rear seat center armrest box bezel.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT ARMREST HOLE BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QAGT

      Engage the clips to install the rear seat armrest hole board sub-assembly.

      Engage the clips

    3. w/ Audio Switch:


      1. A01QAEP

        Pass the rear console box wire through the rear seat center armrest door sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      2. A01Q8J9

        Engage the clamp.

    4. A01QD8S

      Engage the 2 hooks.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST HINGE

      B002C8N Install in this direction

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install the rear seat center armrest hinge.

    2. Install the 2 bushes and 2 screws.

      Torque:
      4.6 N*m  { 47 kgf*cm, 41 in.*lbf }

  23. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and engage the guides to install the rear seat center armrest assembly.

    2. Install the 2 nuts.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings.

      Note

      Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration.

    4. w/ Audio Switch:

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

    5. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Engage the clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

  24. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, securely install 16 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

        Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    3. A01QAHZ

      Pass the rear seat cushion pad through the holes in the bench type rear seat cushion cover as shown in the illustration.

    4. Pass the bench type rear seat cushion cover through the holes in the rear seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

    5. w/ Seat Heater System

        Pass the rear seat cushion heater wire harnesses through the holes in the bench type rear seat cushion cover as shown in the illustration.

    6. Using hog ring pliers, securely install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad with 45 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.
