REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Remove the 45 hog rings.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. B002CDS

        Pass the rear seat cushion heater wire harnesses through the holes in the bench type rear seat cushion cover as shown in the illustration.

    3. B002DZS

      Pass the bench type rear seat cushion cover through the holes in the rear seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration

    4. Pass the rear seat cushion pad through the holes in the bench type rear seat cushion cover as shown in the illustration.

    5. Remove the 16 hog rings and bench type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamps.

    2. w/ Audio Switch:


      1. B002EO5

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamps.

      3. B002CLA

        Position the rear console box wire as shown in the illustration.

    3. B002D1X

      Remove the 6 hog rings.

      B002C8N Remove in this direction

      Remove the 2 nuts.

    5. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and disengage the guides to remove the rear seat center armrest assembly.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST HINGE

      B002C8N Remove in this direction

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 bushes.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the rear seat center armrest hinge.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST HOLE BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B002CSU

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. B002CWC

      w/ Audio Switch:


      1. Disengage the clamp.

        Pass the rear console box wire through the rear seat center armrest door sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. B002E14

      Using a clip remover, disengage the clips.

    4. B002ERI

      Using a clip remover, disengage the clips to remove the rear seat armrest hole board sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX BEZEL

      Disengage the claws to remove the rear seat center armrest box bezel.

  6. REMOVE CUSHION

      Remove the 2 cushions.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

      B002C8N Remove in this direction

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and disengage the claws to remove the rear seat armrest handle.

      *a 45°
      *b Protective Tape

      Insert the key into the rear seat center armrest door lock cylinder assembly, and then rotate the key to the position shown in the illustration so that it cannot be pulled out.

    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, push the part of the rear seat center armrest door lock cylinder assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Using needle-nose pliers, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

    5. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the rear seat center armrest door lock cylinder assembly together with the key.

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the rear seat center armrest door sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT CENTER ARMREST PLATE

      Remove the 4 screws and rear No. 1 seat center armrest plate.

  10. REMOVE CENTER ARMREST LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws and center armrest lock sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE ARMREST CONSOLE HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws and armrest console hinge sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claws and guides to remove the rear seat center armrest panel sub-assembly.

    3. w/ Audio Switch:


      1. B002CDU

        Disconnect the connector.

  13. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX ASSEMBLY (w/o Audio Switch)

      Disengage the claws to remove the rear seat center armrest box assembly.

  14. REMOVE REAR CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Audio Switch)

      Disengage the claws to remove the rear control switch.

  15. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX WIRE (w/ Audio Switch)

      Disengage the clamps to remove the rear console box wire.

  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B002C8N Remove in this direction

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the rear seat center armrest cup holder sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  17. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX

      Disengage the hooks to remove the rear seat center armrest cover sub-assembly.

      Remove the rear seat center armrest box from the rear seat center armrest pad as shown in the illustration.

  18. REMOVE REAR SEAT WIRE


    1. w/ Audio Switch:


      1. B002CQZ

        Disengage the claw and clamps to remove the rear seat wire.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. B002DRQ

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Pass the rear seat wire under the rubber bands of the bench type rear seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

      3. Disengage the claw and clamps to remove the rear seat wire.

  20. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH

      Remove the 3 screws and rear seat shoulder belt guide LH.

  21. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

      Remove the 2 screws and rear seat center shoulder belt guide.

  23. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

      B002C8N Remove in this direction

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration and disengage the claws to remove the 6 rear seat headrest supports.

  24. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. Remove the 36 hog rings.

    2. Pass the rear seatback pad through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover to separate the bench type rear seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. B002DJ1

        Pass the rear seatback heater wire harnesses through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

    4. Remove the rear seat airbag assembly LH.

    5. Remove the rear seat airbag assembly RH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

      Pass the brackets of the bench type rear seatback cover through the holes in the rear seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

    7. Remove the 36 hog rings and bench type rear seatback cover from the rear seatback pad.
