PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

      B002C8N Install in this direction (1)
      B002E01 Install in this direction (2)

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration and engage the guide to install the front seat cushion edge protector.

    2. While rotating in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to engage the guide.

    3. Install the screw.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the front seat cushion edge protector.

  3. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to install the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to engage the clip.

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to engage the guide.

    4. Install the clip.

  4. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to install the front lower seat cushion shield RH.

    2. Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to engage the clip.

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to engage the guide.

    4. Install the clip.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      While rotating in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to engage the hooks.

    2. Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration and disengage the hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the front seatback frame sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and engage the guide to install the seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE

      Engage the claw and clamps to install the front seat wire.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

    3. B002CYX

      Engage the clamp.

    4. Connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to engage the guide.

    2. Pull down in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration and engage the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Engage the clamp to install the front seatback hook.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedures as for the opposite side.

  11. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrows (1) in the illustration to engage the guides.

    2. Push in the direction indicated by the arrows (2) in the illustration and engage the hooks to install the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

      Engage the guides and claw to install the front seatback edge protector.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedures as for the opposite side.

  12. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  14. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE

      Engage the clamps and guide to install the front No. 2 seat wire.

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. for Driver Side:

        Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

  15. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Engage the hooks to install the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

    2. B002CIB

      Engage the clamp.

    3. Connect the connector.

  16. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Install the seat cushion climate control bracket with the 2 screws.

  17. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Engage the guides and claws to install the seat cushion climate control duct.

  18. INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Engage the guides to install the seatback climate control blower.

    2. Install the clip.

      Engage the clamps.

    4. Connect the connector.

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER

      Apply the double-sided tapes to install the seatback protector.

      Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to install the front seatback pad with cover.

    3. Push in the rear end portion of the front seatback pad with cover in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration.

    4. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Engage the claws to install the seatback climate control blower to the front seatback pad with cover.

    5. B002EWM

      Connect the 2 brackets with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • When installing the bracket, check that the band is not twisted.

      • Install the bracket so that it encloses the front seat airbag assembly.

      • If the bracket is not securely installed, the front seat airbag assembly may not deploy correctly.

      Close the 2 fasteners.

      Using hog ring pliers, securely install 3 new hog rings to connect the front seatback pad with cover.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage or contaminate the front seatback pad with cover.

        Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the front seatback pad with cover.

  20. INSTALL NO. 3 FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

      Install the No. 3 front seat shoulder belt guide.

  21. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

      Engage the claws to install the No. 2 front seat shoulder belt guide.

  22. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front seat shoulder belt guide.

  23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER

      B002CL1 Double-sided Tape

      Apply the double-sided tapes to install the front seat cushion protector.

    2. B002ESP

      Engage the hooks to install the front seat cushion pad with cover.

    3. Connect the strap of the front seat cushion pad with cover.

    4. for Front Passenger Side:

        Engage the claw to install the occupant detection sensor connector.

        Connect the connector.

  24. CONNECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER

      Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

      Engage the hook-and-loop fastener.

      Engage the 2 hooks to connect the front seatback pad with cover.

  25. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  29. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  30. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
