    1. Interview the customer to confirm the problem.

  3. PRE-CHECK


    1. Inspect the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

    2. Using the GTS, inspect battery voltage reduction history "Battery Control Count (Body ECU)" in the Data List.

    3. Using the GTS, check the Data List item "Operation Limitation Control History Count".

      Tech Tips

      When "Operation Limitation Control History Count (Level 1)" and "Operation Limitation Control History Count (Level 2)" both display a value other than "0", the operation of the climate control seat system has been limited in the past. If the current operation is being limited, perform troubleshooting for the charging system, as "Operation of Electrical items Restricted" will be displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly.

      1. After performing an inspection, using the GTS, clear the values for "Operation Limitation Control History Count (Level 1)" and "Operation Limitation Control History Count (Level 2)".
