DESCRIPTION

Output to the rear right cushion cover heater temperature sensor stops if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

  3. INSPECT BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Remove the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER)


    1. Disconnect the K65 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K65-18 (TFAR) - h3-1 (TFAR) Always Below 1 Ω
      K65-18 (TFAR) or h3-1 (TFAR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K65-31 (SG) - h3-4 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
      K65-31 (SG) or h3-4 (SG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
