DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a power seat motor operates (a position control sensor is being supplied with power) and the power supply voltage does not rise to the specified value.

    1. Clear the DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT) - SLIDE MOTOR (FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT)))


    1. Disconnect the g5*1 or f5*2 position control ECU and switch assembly (driver seat) connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the g1*1 or f17*2 slide motor (front seat adjuster assembly (driver seat)) connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      g5-5 (SSRS) - g1-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      g5-5 (SSRS) or g1-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      g5-1 (SGND) - g1-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      g5-1 (SGND) or g1-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for RHD

      f5-5 (SSRS) - f17-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      f5-5 (SSRS) or f17-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Reconnect the slide motor (front seat adjuster assembly (driver seat)) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
