Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:

When storing the rear seat side airbag assembly, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
Remove the 6 hog rings and fold back the part of the bench type rear seatback cover.
Remove the nut.
Disengage the clamp.
Remove the 2 nuts and rear seatback plate together with the rear seat airbag assembly.
Disengage the clamp.
Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat airbag assembly from the rear seatback plate.
Note
The nuts must not be reused.
