INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QBAQC01
      *a Forward Looking Sensor
      *b Black Colored Tape

      Apply black colored tape to the forward looking sensor.

    2. A01Q9YCC01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly)
      *b Battery

      Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (IG) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E).

    3. A01Q916C01
      *a Bright
      *b Dark

      Light up the mirror surface with an electric light, and check that the mirror surface changes from bright to dark.

      OK
      Light Condition Mirror Surface Condition
      Light not shining on mirror surface No change
      Light shining on mirror surface Mirror darkens

      If the result is not as specified, replace the inner rear view mirror assembly.
