SPOT LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QBS2C01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Spot Light Assembly)

      Check the rear dome light.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the spot light assembly and check that the rear dome light comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 2 (B)

        Battery negative (-) → 3 (CTY)

        		 Always Rear dome light comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

    2. Check the reading light.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the spot light assembly and check that the reading light comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 2 (B)

        Battery negative (-) → 4 (E)

        		 Reading light switch LH on Reading light LH comes on
        Reading light switch RH on Reading light RH comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

    3. Check that the switch illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the switch illumination comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 5 (ILLB)

        Battery negative (-) → 4 (E)

        		 Always Switch illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
