PERSONAL LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QCOWC01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Map Light Assembly)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-19 (+B1) - A-26 (RIFL) Always Below 1 Ω
        A-28 (RLMP) - B-22 (GND9) Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.

    2. Check the front map light.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the map light assembly and check that the front map light comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → A-19 (+B1)

        Battery negative (-) → B-22 (GND9)

        		 Front map light switch LH on Front map light LH comes on
        Front map light switch RH on Front map light RH comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.

    3. Check the front dome light.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the map light assembly and check that the front dome light comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → A-19 (+B1)

        Battery negative (-) → B-22 (GND9)

        		 Front dome light switch on Front dome light comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.

    4. Check the switch illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the map light assembly and check that the switch illumination comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → A-4 (ILLB)

        Battery negative (-) → A-11 (LILL)

        		 Always Switch illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.

    5. Check the door switch.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-14 (DOOR) - B-22 (GND9) Door switch on Below 1 Ω
        A-14 (DOOR) - B-22 (GND9) Door switch off 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.
