ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A01Q96O

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

    2. Connect the hood lock control cable.

    3. A01QBOIC01
      B002C8N Install in this Direction (1)
      B002E01 Install in this Direction (2)

      Move the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) as shown in the illustration.

    4. Install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR


    1. A01QB0B

      Install the hood lock release lever protector with the 2 clips.

    2. Engage the clamps.

    3. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
