ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  2. REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamps.

    3. Remove the 2 clips and hood lock release lever protector.

  3. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)

      Remove the 3 bolts to separate the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).

      B002C8N Remove in this Direction (1)
      B002E01 Remove in this Direction (2)

      Move the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) as shown in the illustration.

      Disconnect the hood lock control cable to remove the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).
