  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedures for both the LH and RH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR HOLE COVER

  3. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL

  4. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER

  8. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS INNER WEATHERSTRIP

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST SET BRACKET

  12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY

  16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      *1 Front Door Lock Open Rod
      B002C8N Remove in this Direction

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws.

    3. Disconnect the front door lock open rod as shown in the illustration.

    4. Remove the front door lock assembly.

      When reusing the front door lock assembly:


      1. Remove the door lock wiring harness seal from the front door lock assembly.

  17. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the guide to remove the front door lock remote control cable assembly.

  18. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *B w/ Double Locking System
      B002C8N Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the claws to open the cover as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the guide to remove the front door inside locking cable assembly.
