LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR

CHECK DTC

1. Check main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

   5. Check for DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > Main Body > Trouble Codes

2. Check air conditioning amplifier assembly

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Trouble Codes.

   5. Check for DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

3. Check certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Trouble Codes.

   5. Check for DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Trouble Codes

4. Check headlight control ECU sub-assembly

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Trouble Codes.

   5. Check for DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes

CLEAR DTC

1. Check main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Clear DTCs.

   5. Clear the DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > Main Body > Clear DTCs

2. Check air conditioning amplifier assembly

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Clear DTCs.

   5. Clear the DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

3. Check certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Clear DTCs.

   5. Clear the DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Clear DTCs

4. Check headlight control ECU sub-assembly

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Clear DTCs.

   5. Clear the DTCs.

      
      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs
