CLEARANCE WARNING ECU REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the clearance warning ECU assembly removal/installation are shown below.

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  3. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  4. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut.

    3. Disengage the hook to remove the clearance warning ECU assembly.

      Note

      Replace the clearance warning ECU assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.

  5. REMOVE COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH (for RHD)

    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    2. B002E3T

      Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and cowl side junction block LH.

  6. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    1. Disengage the claws to remove the clearance warning ECU assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Replace the clearance warning ECU assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
