DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the blind spot monitor sensor.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BATTERY)


    1. A01QCKBN02

      Disconnect the T31 blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      T31-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      T31-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T31-10 (BRGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BATTERY)


    1. A01QCKBN03

      Disconnect the U37 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      U37-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      U37-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
