  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the K57 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the W9 map light assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K57-49 (SNS2) - W9-1 (SNS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      K57-29 (MACC) - W9-4 (MACC) Always Below 1 Ω
      K57-27 (MIN+) - W9-3 (MCO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      K57-48 (MIN-) - W9-2 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      K57-49 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K57-29 (MACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K57-27 (MIN+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K57-48 (MIN-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the map light assembly.

    2. Remove the telephone microphone assembly.
