DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) controls the entry and start system related items that are customizable via the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 screen.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.


      OK
      CAN communication system DTCs are not output.

  2. CHECK ENTRY AND START SYSTEM


    1. Check if the entry and start system*1 or push-button start system*2 is malfunctioning.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the entry and start system*1 or push-button start system*2.

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the vehicle customization screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

      Tech Tips

      The items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In the following step, the GTS will be used.


      1. To match the items on the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the entry and start system*3 or push-button start*4 related items that can be customized via the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 screen.

    3. Using the GTS, check that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 screen.
