DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

Tech Tips

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the front power seat control system related items that are customizable via the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 screen.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.


      OK
      CAN communication system DTCs are not output.

  2. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM


    1. Check if the front power seat control system is malfunctioning.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the front power seat control system.

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the vehicle customization screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

      Tech Tips

      The items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In the following step, the GTS will be used.


      1. To match the items on the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the front power seat control system related items that can be customized via the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 screen.

    3. Using the GTS, check that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the multi-display*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 screen.
