ASC SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ASC SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)


    1. A01Q8EYC01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (ASC Switch)
      *b Switch Indicator

      Check the ASC switch on/off operation


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (B) - 2 (ECU) ASC switch on Below 1 Ω
        ASC switch off 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the ASC switch.

    2. Inspect the switch indicator


      1. Apply battery voltage to the ASC switch connector and check that the switch indicator comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

        battery negative (-) → 13 (IND)

        		 ASC switch on Switch indicator comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the ASC switch.

    3. Inspect the switch illumination


      1. Apply battery voltage to the ASC switch connector and check that the switch illumination comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

        battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)

        		 Switch illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the ASC switch.
