REAR PACKAGE TRAY SPEAKER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Mark Levinson Speaker System:


      1. A01QCJMC11
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear No. 3 Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Always 4.8 to 6.8 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 3 speaker assembly.

    2. w/o Mark Levinson Speaker System:


      1. A01QCJMC12
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear No. 3 Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Always 2.5 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 3 speaker assembly.

  2. INSPECT REAR HEADER SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the rear header speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one.

      OK
      Malfunction disappears.

      Tech Tips


      • Connect the connectors to the rear header speaker assembly.

      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left rear header speaker assembly is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

      • Perform the inspection above on both the LH and RH sides.
