STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU


    1. Install the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR OR UPPER BRACKET ASSEMBLY

    Note

    If the steering lock actuator assembly is replaced, refer to Service Bulletin.

      Temporarily install the steering lock actuator or upper bracet assembly with 2 new steering lock set bolts.

    2. Tighten the 2 steering lock set bolts until the bolt head breaks off.
