DESCRIPTION

The parking brake ECU assembly performs the lock/release operation of the parking brake based on signals from the electric parking brake switch assembly, or instruction signals from other systems via CAN communication.

Both of following conditions are met:


  1. Engine switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch assembly pulled to lock side with engine switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's power source relay is open for approximately 0.5 seconds

C13A5/41 Electric Current of Motor

All of following conditions are met:


  1. Engine switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch assembly pulled to lock side with engine switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's internal current is abnormal

  3. When parking brake is operating, problem occurs for approximately 0.3 seconds.; when parking brake is not operating, problem occurs for approximately 0.5 seconds.

C13B0 Electric Parking Brake ECU Malfunction

All of following conditions are met:


  1. Engine switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch assembly pulled to lock side with engine switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's internal voltage is abnormal, or EEPROM is malfunctioning

  3. Problem occurs for approximately 0.5 seconds
