Note


  • Before disconnecting connectors or fuses, turn the engine switch off and wait 20 seconds or more.

  • If the parking brake with bracket actuator assembly is replaced, perform the "Reset Memory" and "Acquire Tension Sensor Zero Point" procedures.

  • This DTC may be output if a manual release cable is used. There is no malfunction. Perform the "Reset Memory" and "Acquire Tension Sensor Zero Point" procedures

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING BRAKE ECU ASSEMBLY - PARKING BRAKE WITH BRACKET ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the U30 parking brake ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the U33 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      U30-8 (TSEN) - U33-5 (TSEN) Always Below 1 Ω
      U30-8 (TSEN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U30-6 (TSN2) - U33-10 (TSN2) Always Below 1 Ω
      U30-6 (TSN2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U30-7 (VT) - U33-6 (VT) Always Below 1 Ω
      U30-7 (VT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U30-14 (TGND) - U33-1 (TGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      U30-14 (TGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U30-10 (SG) - U33-2 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
