TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG
Tech Tips
Fully tighten the rear disc brake bleeder plug after bleeding the system.
INSTALL CYLINDER BOOT
Install a new cylinder boot into the groove of the disc brake piston as shown in the illustration.

Note
Because there are two cylinder sizes, be sure to use the correct size boot for each disc brake piston as shown in the illustration.
Securely install the cylinder boot into the groove of the rear disc brake piston.
Do not apply any grease to any part where the cylinder boot touches the rear disc brake cylinder assembly as shown in the illustration.

Push in the disc brake piston and install the cylinder boot to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
Note
Do not forcibly push the disc brake piston into the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
Securely install the cylinder boot into the groove of the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
Use the same procedure to install the remaining cylinder boots.
