Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The following procedure is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
INSTALL REAR DISC
Check the identification mark to determine the installation side.
Note
The rear disc needs to be installed to the correct side of the vehicle. There is a "LEFT", indicating the disc for the left wheel, or a "RIGHT", indicating the disc for the right wheel, engraved on the disc in the position shown in the illustration.
When reusing the rear disc:

Align the matchmarks of the rear disc and rear axle hub and bearing assembly, and install the rear disc.
When replacing the rear disc:
Inspect the rear disc runout.
Select the installation position where the rear disc has minimal runout, and install the rear disc.
Temporarily install the hub nut.
INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTING HOLE PLUG
Install the parking brake shoe adjusting hole plug to rear disc.
INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
Install the rear disc brake cylinder assembly to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.
CONNECT REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE
Connect the rear flexible hose to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly with a new union bolt and a new gasket.
Note
Install the rear flexible hose lock securely into the lock hole in the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE ANTI-SQUEAL SHIM KIT
INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE PAD
BLEED BRAKE LINE
ADJUST PARKING BRAKE
INSTALL REAR WHEEL
PERFORM PARKING BRAKE SHOE BEDDING
