The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY
REMOVE ROLL RATE AND VERTICAL ACCELERATION SENSOR (YAW RATE SENSOR)
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 2 nuts and roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor).
Note
Do not drop the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor).
If the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) is dropped, replace it with a new one.
REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET
Remove the 2 screws and disengage the 2 hooks to remove the yaw rate sensor bracket.
